Issues of Existing Permissions at Whitecleave Quarry
On July 15th we wrote to Mel Stride MP on behalf of the Community Forum. This was to ask Mel Stride to formally seek clarification about the existing permissions at Whitecleave Quarry and how they relate to Gilpin Demolition's activity at the site. The copy of our letter is here. After receiving Mel Stride's request for more information, Dave Black (Devon County Council's Head of Planning, Transport and Environment Services) invited us to County Hall for a meeting members of the planning executive. Subsequent to that meeting Dave Black responded to Mel Stride in a 4 page letter. This response was received on 8th August. The letter is here:
